3.0 out of 5 stars Don't Expect This to be like later titles
This volume (and volume 2) are a lot tamer than the later volumes, more of a 'how to' than a recounting of an experience. The letters are there, but mostly low-key. More of a we (or I) tried this and liked it with no details. It does have some rather deviant chapters, things usually under the Different Strokes in the later books.

The Penthouse Letters book is a splendid collection of ACTUAL reader letters addressing the ordinary and not-so-ordinary sexual experiences of the audience of people served by Penthouse Magazine and its sister publications, notably Penthouse Variations. All of the letters published speak right to the topic(s) of various sexual activities NOT ordinarily discussed in main-stream "guide" books. This is certainly to be expected because the letters published in this book are culled from the multitudes received by the Penthouse organization. If you have ever read about, and/or enjoyed the off-beat sex activities reviewed by Penthouse Magazine, this book is highly recommended.

most erotica books geared towards women stop the story just when the story is getting hot. This book does not stop and gives the read erotic details.
