No joke - this album rocks!
With reggae and hip-hop influences thrown in with classical holiday fare - this album really puts you in the mood for the 8 Crazy Nights of Hanukkah. The whole album is a joyous celebration of a rich culture and would be a cool gift for anyone on your list.

My family and I love this cd. It's a fresh take on the standard Chanuka songs. I love that the cd has an international flavor; there is hip hop, reggae, Hebrew, Ladino. We played the cd all during Chanuka and really enjoyed it.

An excellent gift for the kids - a very cutting edge interpretation of Hanukkah melodies. Very well done and creative!

This album is awesome. No Jewish holiday album in decades has made such an astonishing impression as this one.

This is what Hanukah music should be! Inventive, inspired and a new approach to holiday music. A total pleasure--I immediately sent two CDs as presents.

I first heard some of this music on satelite radio. So I purchased it from Amazon, it more than exceeded my expectations. It is an excellent CD, that I would recommend very highly. A Great Gift to give as well.

I have truly enjoyed this CD. It is creative and inclusive, celebrating Hannukah and the music of the holiday with a worldwide flavor. There is both sentimentality and just plain fun.

In my humble opinion, this is among the finest CDs of the year. Congratulations to Cohen for putting together such a nice cd, which makes me and so many others proud. Besides the great songs, I was introduced to the lovely female singer, singing in Ladino, more of who's cds I will now get. Hooray for Erran Baron Cohen for such good work. MAZEL TOV!!!!!!!

This is a CD that is a must have! We listen to it all the time:)
My son's favorite is "The Dreidal Song" and mine is, "Ocho Kandelikas".

This compilation of hard-to-find Hanukkah music is insanely talented, fun and original. A MUST for every Jewish household and probably every non-Jewish one, also. Imagine songs about the Holy Land in zydeco,rap and other toe-tapping genres. Great!
