this scale is perfect. the price is right. it's easy to clean and store.
I recommend this highly. Even for small postal packages it's perfect.

I use this everyday to weigh portions for our diet and while it serves its purpose, the marks could be a bit bigger. I have a hard time seeing the tiny ounce marks on the scale. The bowl is NOT dishwasher safe! Do not try it, it will warp. Thus my reason for the 4 stars!

I LIKE THIS SCALE. I USE IT FOR WEIGHING HORSE GRAIN, AT THE BARN, SO IT GETS SOME ROUGH USE. IT HOLDS IT ZERO MARK VERY GOOD. NICE, COMPACT, EASY TO STORE. I AM BUYING ANOTHER ONE.

I have been told that the key to gluten free cooking is weights not measurements. This has to do with the fact that gluten free flours may be more or less dense than conventional flour. So I decided to purchase a kitchen scale. Since all the recipes that were tried and true with weights were in grams, I decided to find one that weighed in grams. I did not want an electronic version as I do try to be good to the environment. Upon reading the description for this scale I thought it was exactly what I wanted. If I want to weigh in kg it is perfect, but my recipe calls for 2 weights of 15g. I can only approximate. If I wanted to approximate I could use a measuring cup. I have sent this scale back. I see no practical use for it at all.

This product is poorly designed and cheaply made. A good digital scale cost only a few dollars more and that is the way to go.

I bought this scale to weigh horse feed and it works well and to date seems consistently accurate.
