Weight varies depending on where you place the object being weighed. One never knows if the correct weight is being shown due to this placement issue.

I used this scale about twice a week for four months to measure ingredients weighing less than 2 pounds. It looks nice and is lightweight. However, I had two major problems with it.

First, the auto-off feature is designed to conserve battery power, but is poorly thought-out. Sometimes the scale would shut itself off in the middle of a measurement!

More seriously, after about 3 months the scale started to behave erratically (displaying random numbers for a few seconds before settling back to the previously displayed value), and finally after less than four months it's dead, displaying just EEEE. Unfortunately, I've missed the Amazon return window, so I'll contact the manufacturer with its supposed 5-year warranty. However, I don't have high hopes for the outcome. UPDATE: Yeah, nothing. Ended up throwing it in the trash.
