Ever since 2004's 4th Dimensional rocketships going up Gab (Tim Parker)has went for a more futuristic sound. Whatever you want to call it,underground,experimental,alternative,or space hop this music shines over all mainstream spoon-fed garbage. This Album is tight.Favorite tracks so far,Escape 2 Mars,Rhyme Travel,Light years,Somathapeople,and Dreamin'(feat.Del and Brother Ali) Don't forget to check out "Dropping Science Fiction" with his new group "The Mighty Underdogs"

I love gift of gab and this is one of the best albums hes put out since the blackalicious stuff. I didn't like is recent work as much but it is still better quality hip hop than most stuff out there. This album is awesome.

at first I thought this album would be great coming from the guy who just did fourth dimensional rocketships going up and at first i liked it but then i realized that although there where some pretty good songs on it there were a few terrible ones too. Spotlight, Electric Waterfalls, In Las Vegas, and the other version of Dreamin quickly became hard to listen to. So if your trying to decide between Escape 2 Mars and Fourth Dimensional Rocketships Going Up than you defiantly should get Fourth Dimensional Rocketships Going Up.
