FABULOUS CD! SMART, FUNNY, ENTERTAINING-Buy This & Enjoy, October 20, 2006

During a morning work-out, I listened to Nancy Tucker's latest CD, "Escape of the Slinkys". I had to control how loud I was laughing since I was at the YMCA and there were lots of serious looking fit folks around. It's smart and funny. Nancy focused on puns, zany word plays, tongue twisters and endless good humor. She is way on top of the art and craft of songwriting and at the same time, clearly in to having fun. Song titles include "Hats on Bees", "Exceptional Piece of Toast". Firefighters Fighting Fires" and a real favorite, "The Laffy Dullabye", which makes fun of that centerpiece of night-time propaganda, the lullabye. It deserves the PARENTS CHOICE GOLD AWARD it won. This CD is not a low common denominator and Nancy appropriately suggests it for kids ages 6 and up. Well, at 53, I'm definitely "up" and still laughing. Order your own copy and bring some laughter to your next car ride, workout, or home listening with the family!
