More About the Author

Just a small town girl from Iowa who struggled with being uprooted at age 14 into the swirl of Southern California. Married at age 16 to an Italian immigrant and had 4 children by age 22. I wasn't satisfied with my life so I decided to change it. I got into real estate in the early 70's and made a lot of money so that I could get a real education. I got my law degree in 1982 but stayed in real estate as that's where I was meant to be. Divorced after 25 years, I married my teenage sweetheart Michael. His death in 2003 was the end of an era for me. I became a real estate investor and left the retail part of real estate behind. Another 7 years was spent in a pseudo marriage to an older retired Marine. Another marriage in 2012 to a wonderful guy (an Irishman) revealed some serious secrets during our first RV adventure. He turned out to be the best of all possible choices for me.
The four children all grew to be successful, serious and happy adults. All in all, with all the twists and turns, I decided to write my autobiography. It's my first book and entitled "Out of the Bottoms" available here on
The next book is a short story entitled "Further Down the Road" about the intimacy of traveling in an RV with someone you really don't know very well. Other books include "Dating Strangers" and my best seller "So, You Want To Be A Real Estate Agent".
