This is one of the worst products I have ever paid for. During the day the screen is so washed out by the sun light it's hard to determine any directions for navigation.

I would buy this mirror over and over again. With the backup camera it is just a luxurious item and so convenient! Anyone who doesn't have a nice review for this awesome piece of engineering is out of their minds or maybe blind! If you are considering purchasing this item DO IT!

If the price is too good to be true, then that fact is the only truth that you are buying. Amazon and it's supplier/seller, Beach Audio, both misled me when I purchased the Escort Smart Mirror. [[ASIN:B002GYVRXW Escort Smart Mirror GPS Navigator]. While doing research on the product, according to Escort Radar, the manufacturer, it has a rear view camera, and it sells for $799.99. So when I get an email from Amazon and it has the item for $550.09, (with shipping), through Beach Audio, I am interested. So an $800 product for $550, saving me $250 sounds like a great deal, wouldn't you think? So did I, so I bought it. The Escort Smart Mirror arrives, I take the product to get it professionally installed. The installer tells me that the back up camera is not in the box. I contact Beach Audio, and come to find out that, if I had turned the box over, I would have read that the camera was not included. I must be old school, I never learned to turn boxes over and read the bottoms.

I WOULD NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BEACH AUDIO AGAIN AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BEACH AUDIO FOR YOU TO DO BUSINESS WITH, DUE TO MY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE WITH THEM. BUT IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE FOR YOURSELF, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Amazon is great for cheap books, but I would NOT buy anything other than "cheap books", from them again. The Amazon advertising/marketing write-up piece NEVER mentioned anything about not havng the camera either, just the low, "to good to be true price". And so it was. LEARN FROM MY EXPERIENCE
