It has detailed explanations of all the operations and internal wiring of the Ford Escort and guides you through al the changes that need to be made to changes or repair any parts within your Ford Escort. I very good guide.

I find this book to be most helpful. All the information on torque values are there, you just have to know where to look, and it's not that complicated. Shop type manuals are great, but they assume a bit of knowledge on the reader. This haynes manual is for the complete beginner. I like to use many manuals for a car and I would buy a chiltons or another to do a big job, but this haynes is my go to manual for this car. (93 escort) The home mechanic who just does the major maintenance on the vehicle would be able to get all the jobs done with this one manual. There is a ford escort owners group online that has more help if ya need it.
