I grew up listening to the Escorts back in the 70's. This group although inmates, formed such harmonic soul together and lets us know that sinners have soul and that God prevails through the good and bad.

Back in the 70's, this group rocked Brooklyn, New York which is where I am originally from. I still have their original album and I am happy that they are available on CD.

I remember the first time I saw the group. I snuck out the house to go see a concert with New Birth and The Escorts. I was a lovesick teenager after seeing them perform "Let's make love at home sometime." Great memories.

This is the sweetest soul group ever recorded.The sound of this reissue is amazing, finally great liner notes! Fans of 70's soul the true period for great music will keep this group alive for ever.
