A beautiful collection of spanish music and videos of one of the most talented female vocalist. If you enjoyed her voice with the 80's group Mecano, you will love this mature collection. I do not understand how this fabulous woman from Spain gets overshadowed by other latin female singers. In fact, my opinion is that her first album, which was lovely, somehow got overshadowed by Mecano's greatest hits album which came out soon after. Her presence and voice have angelic properties.

For those who wish to see and hear a beautiful female spanish artist, start with this collection. This CD has been one of the best in my latest music collection, thanks Ana.

It takes a while to get used to the thin quivering voice of Ana Torroja but once you do, she delivers beautifully. She is a little uneven in her choice of material with some songs just slipping by as mere pop filler and others sticking to your head like a bad dream , "Duele el Amor" for example. This is a very gentle and smooth record which sets Ana Torroja aside from other recent spanish authors that tend to cater to more aggressive or political audiences.

This album is definitely the best of the best not only of Ana Torroja but of music in Spanish as well.
Oddly enough, Ana Torroja is not well known yet in non English-speaking countries (with the exception of France), in spite of her long successful career in Spain and Latin America.
The tracks included in this cd are well known among his fans but it also includes two special tracks in French (one of them with international superstar Patrick Bruel) that were included in her full French-speaking album released a few years ago.

OC.

This is a very comprehensive collection of ana torroja's solo work. If you haven't checked it out then this would be ideal.

I always felt personally that her solo material was a hit or miss throughout the years but i based that judgement on purchasing only her first album and by whatever else i was able to watch on tv from her. I'm glad i got this because it gave me the chance to fully explore her solo work and recognize that it is good.

This compilation will prove that she doesn't really need jose cano and nacho cano to record good songs although her collaboration with them is timeless.

I was fan of Mecano, but It's great to listen to Ana Tarroja, with her smooth and sweet voice, in more mature songs. And she sings a lot!
Great opportunity to try her new musics, and solo career.
