Need CPU power to record programs, but not so bad as a whole,

I think you are a powerbook user, there's no other choice to watch tv on your computer than this one.
I'm using Mac OS X 10.4.2, the latest so far, and there's no problem if it's only about watching tv program. But I found two problems so far: 1. you need more CPU speed if you want to use this as a HDD recorder. My Powerbook got 1.5GHz G4, but it's apparently not fast enough. 2. Only updating OS by 0.1 is sometimes enough to crash the software But wait, the guys always work really hard to fix problems. (...)

Never worked right out of the box. Reloaded software five times, never would detect hardware so the software would not accept the software update that came with the hardware. Poor design, poor software.
