This album is pretty amazing-- Christian metal-core played with a surprising amount of talent and complexity. Jazz influences appear frequently. There's something strange about the production which makes the music sound a little flat, though. The general tone doesn't vary all that much. A brighter sound would bring out the complexity in the music more. And the lyrics have to go-- I don't mind Christian lyrics, as long as they're intelligent, but these are a little too predictable and preachy. It's easy to ignore these short-comings when you're listening to the music, though, which is very original, and unlike anything else I've heard.

If that made any sense esocharis is a pretty "groove" band haha! Anywho, I realy love all the tracks on this fantastic disc specialy "born with a future " realy nice bass on that tune right there ! The lirycs are pretty uplifting and should be respected even if you listing to satanic bands or any other hardcore band that dont talk about god ! Respect and support esocharis!!

By far one of the best cds i have!!! I love spirit of revival. it is short but has so much meaning and the lyrics are so good in this album. I love this cd i would give more stars if i could.
