4.0 out of 5 stars No Tuner!
This is a very nice guitar. It has a very rich and warm/full sound when compared to the next Espana model down, which tends to sound a little boxy, but brighter. This model does NOT have a built in tuner. Just about every advertised description says it does but it dosen't. This is a very nice guitar. It has a very rich and warm/full sound when compared to the next Espana model down, which tends to sound a little boxy, but brighter. This model does NOT have a built in tuner. Just about every advertised description says it does but it dosen't. Comparing the recorded miked sound to the active electronic premap/pickup they sound almost identical. The other Espana that "does" contain the built in tuner is much brighter and harsher...not as good as the original acoustic sound. You can make EQ adjustments to correct that, but the Fishan preamp in this model is much truer to the acoustic sound without adjustments. Both are nice guitars but this one is much warmer when compared side by side.
