This review is from: Espanol Correcto Para Dummies (Paperback)

This book is a true specialty. But you should keep in mind that it is for people that speak the Spanish language as their original language and doesn't for people that have this as second language. That is to say, in this book you won't learn how to speak neither to write Spanish. This book is for people that speak and they write this language, but making errors that accompany them from the childhood and that they stayed this way. From the first one until the last one paginates the book it is full with pleasant and funny comments that make to the work a true reading pleasure. With this book you don't forget a acent again, since in it is clear that our Spanish has a perfect system of accentuation. You will learn that the DRAE is something more than the Dictionary of the Real Spanish Academy, and you will give to Spanish that place so special that we are not able to give him during long and boring years of school. Do you forget word acents? What will the last participle of the pluperfect be of....? ¿será que, qué será, quesera, what they will be? Will an error be the previous question? With this book we realize the quantity of errors that we make, and it is made in such a form that we finish laughing from ourselves when realizing the form in that we treat our language. Their methodology is a brilliant idea: he leaves to a side the long, eminent and meritorious speeches that fill the classrooms of our schools, and it transforms them into some simple powerful lines that caress the spirit and it liberates us of that mortal sin that we feel when not being able to take out an A++ in an dialogue simple by the light of a candle and a good cup of coffee. I recommend it to you, you won't be sorry.
