5.0 out of 5 stars Great Bottle Warmer
This thing is great!!! It has an automatic shut off button when the bottle is warm, so no bottle goes too long and risks burning the baby, it has a night light so it's easy to find in the dark during those late night feedings, the water is easy as heck to measure out, it has an "on" button that illuminates when on...then shuts off when bottle is warm...so no need to...

1.0 out of 5 stars Very Disappointed
I am very disappointed with this bottle warmer. I bought it after reading everything about it. It also has great reviews, BUT you cannot use bottle liners in it. I had to find out the hard way by buying it, getting it home, setting it up, then reading the small print on the directions that say no bottle liners because the may melt or make the milk too hot. Please keep...

This thing is great!!! It holds Avent bottles, curved bottles, and regular bottles...who can ask for more!!

I did alot of research, and there wasn't much information on this particular product, but every review I read about other warmers just didn't sound "intriguing" enough for me to purchase....so I took a chance on the express bottle warmer and boy am I glad I did!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Don't Listen to the Nay-sayers - the Best Bottle Warmer Around, September 23, 2005
This review is from: Especially for Baby Bottle Warmer (Baby Product)
I don't mean to be disrespectful to the previous reviewers, but please ... like all bottle warmers, you need to use a little common sense here. It stands to reason an 8-ounce bottle isn't going to warm up in the time it takes a 4-ounce bottle. You can't just dump the water in and walk away from it, thinking it will automatically "regulate" itself and know how much formula you are trying to heat. You need to keep a check on it and keep testing the bottle.

In the nine months I've used this, I've overheated a bottle maybe two times and that was due to sheer inattention on my part. If you pay attention and keep a check on the bottle as it heats, you will have no problems. Plus, the more you use it, the more you get used to it until you know by sense how much time various amounts of formula will take to heat.

That said, this is an excellent bottle warmer. There is a container for two bottles and an included ice pack to keep the bottles cold. I kept this on the headboard shelf of my bed at night until my daughter started sleeping through the night at four months - when she cried during the night and wanted to eat (she was in a co-sleeper right next to us), I opened up the container, pulled out a bottle, dumped a vial of water in the chamber, put the bottle in and hit the button. That was it - I changed her diaper while the bottle was warming, kept a check on it, and never had to get out of the bed. I got a lot more sleep thanks to this bottle warmer, let me tell you!

I can't recommend this highly enough - it is worth every penny and then some.

5.0 out of 5 stars TAKES AWAY THE GUESS WORK, October 23, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Especially for Baby Bottle Warmer (Baby Product)
At first I didn't want this product, but my husband insisted. Now I am so thankful that we have this. Especially with those middle of the night feedings. It takes away all the guess work and trips back and forth to see if the bottle's done. Now I just pour in the premeasured amount of water from the provided holder, put in the bottle and hit the button and am off to change the baby etc.. Then when I hear the timer pop you're guaranteed to have the correct temp. bottle each time. {You do have to experiment with the amount of water the first time, as each kind of bottle or amount of liquid may effect temp, but after the first time, you're set}. Now even walking in my sleep the bottles come out perfect every time. It couldn't be more simple.

5.0 out of 5 stars Greatest invention since the wheel!, July 18, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Especially for Baby Bottle Warmer (Baby Product)
What a fantastic invention! The unit allows you to stay in your baby's room without having to fumble/sleepwalk to the kitchen to get to a refrigerator or microwave/stove.

I use DR. BROWN'S 8 oz. & 4 oz. WIDE-NECK BOTTLES and BOTH FIT in the cooler unit, as well as the warming unit. The whole purpose is to get the bottles so they are not cold (room-temperature to warm is fine: read any baby book) and this unit is successful in doing that.

Depending on the amount of milk in your bottles, you will have to adjust the amount of water that you put in the warming unit. For smaller amounts, use less water; for larger amounts, use more water. Sometimes this takes a little bit of experimentation, but you'll get the hang of it in no time.

The unit is also extremely easy to clean.

I give this bottle warmer my highest recommendation and encourage you to select this warmer over the other, less expensive models that do not include the cooler (then you have to make a trip to the kitchen to get the bottles out of the fridge!) Put this on your registry!

5.0 out of 5 stars A MUST HAVE!!, March 24, 2003
This review is from: Especially for Baby Bottle Warmer (Baby Product)
This is the best item we purchased for our daughter, ReAnn. Fifteen years ago when we had our first daughter, Carissa, there was nothing wrong with warming the formula in the microwave, but now with our second daughter they say not to. So for the first couple days we had her home we would run the hot water and let the bottle soak in it until it was warm, this took forever & a big waste of water!! So I went out and purchased this warmer, what a God send!!

I've read the other reviews and for those of you that had a problem with it not warming up I have a suggestion. Check the temp. in your fridge. I did notice that when we turned the temp. down a little in our frige. the bottle heated up faster. And yes, you have to work with the warmer a little, but it's not hard. Hint: for 2 to 3 oz. don't leave it in the entire time and shake the bottle a couple times while warming. For 4 oz. it will take 1 to 1 1/2 tubes (the little blue measuring thing) of water, and shake bottle while warming. NOTE: the "Avent" brand bottles that I received will not fit in this warmer.

I have alrady recommended this warmer to several people and if something happens to mine I will go out and purchase another one, thats how much I like it!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Worked well for us...wish we'd found this four months ago..., July 14, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Especially for Baby Bottle Warmer (Baby Product)
We tried this product after we'd been through many other options, thinking they would work better--a hot pot, putting a bottle into a mug of very hot water that was microwaved (the water, not the bottle), instantly hot water caught in a mug sitting on the warmer of our Braun coffeemaker (for daytime feedings on the main level of the home), etc. All very inefficient and all requiring "babysitting" the warmer to achieve the correct temperature for the contents of the bottle.

We finally decided to give this product a try when we saw it in the store last week. We have four-month-old twins and each twin eats 5-7 oz. of formula per feeding, so this product works great for us.

I can't attest to how this product warms smaller bottles, but I will say that for larger bottles (5-8 oz.), you should *follow the directions* on the unit and make sure you leave the bottle in until the red light extinquishes, which indicates the bottle is warm. We followed the instructions to a "T" and we've had great results--I'm with one of the other reviewers--you should always check the temp of the contents of the bottle (on your wrist) to make sure it is the correct temperature.

By the way, we use Avent bottles with this warmer, and all you have to do is remove the removable ring from the top of the basket to get the larger Avent bottles to fit in the basket. Once you do that, the Avent bottles fit in the basket perfectly.

We also did not use the cooling unit. One thing to consider, though--the folks who are saying the bottles don't warm up so well might be using the cooling unit to store the bottles, which is like putting the bottle against a block of ice (the "cooling core" inside the cooler), which is possibly making the bottles way too cold compared to a bottle which comes out of a cool refrigerator.

Early on, when we first started to refrigerate breastmilk upstairs for late-night pumpings and late-night feedings, we got a small "college dorm-type" fridge and put it on the second floor to store multiple (more than two) bottles of formula and breastmilk, juice, water, and snacks for mom and dad. and to then use refrigerated bottles to put in the warmer. I would recommend to not use the cooler for your bottles as the cooler probaby makes the bottles an arctic temperature, meaning you might have to run the warmer more than once to get the bottle warmed to the correct temperature.

We are geetting a second unit so we don't risk burning out the heating element and so the second feeder (if she wakes within 15 mins. of the first twin) doesn't have to wait for the warmer to cool. Each baby will have her own warmer!

Highly recommend the warmer. Consistent use, haven't noticed or cared about any brown water as mentioned by other reviewers. It pays to follow the instructions for the product to give it a chance to see if it works properly for you. Worked (and does work) great for us.

5.0 out of 5 stars WE CAN'T DO WITHOUT IT, September 23, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Especially for Baby Bottle Warmer (Baby Product)
This is so convenient for us. I love that it has an automatic shut off feature, it has a heating receptical that can warm regular & wide-mouth bottles such as the Avent ones, and the cooler for 2 bottles so you don't have to stumble to the refridgerator for those late night feedings. It's so simple & easy to use and it works great.

I just had my third child and decided to give this item a try. I live in a two story home and did not want to have to go downstairs during the night to warm a bottle. This item was excellent. My bottles were never too hot and were always warm enough, even 6 oz. bottles. The night light helps to find it so you don't have to turn the light on, plus the auto light shuts off when done. It didn't take long to heat up either. By the time I changed the baby's diaper and got him ready to eat the bottle was ready. I just wish I had this item with my first two children!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Thing I Ever Bought!, November 18, 2003
This review is from: Especially for Baby Bottle Warmer (Baby Product)
Being a mother of newborn twins, we use our warmer A LOT! It warms bottles quickly and I never have to wait a few minutes before I can put another bottle in! All the other warmers we tried made us wait 3-5 minutes in between causing a very unhappy second in line feeder!! Even if you do not plan to use the cooling compartment (which we still have not,) just the ease and quickness of use makes this warmer #1!!!
