5.0 out of 5 stars Runs the gammut, November 20, 2000

An absolutely soul-wrenching album. I dance, I cry, I groove, I laugh. For those who understand German, it's fantastic. I love the lyrics. For those who don't, Max's mellow voice says it all. Love the guitar on the first track, the laid-back groove of Erste Schritte, the romantic mmmmmm baby of mit dir, the hard edge of tabula rasa pt. II. I could live without the 2 skit tracks, but the same goes for Wyclef Jean's and Lauren Hill's solo albums.

The Fruendeskreis CD "Esperanto' is pretty cool. I like it very much because they're rapping on four different languages ( German, English, French and Esperanto ). This CD is great!!! BUY IT!!!!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars It's da bomb, October 11, 1999

I just want to add to the comments that I have read, that this CD is just as good, if not better, than some american Hip-Hop ones. Rapping in all these languages is awesome, and they've got great beats as well. My advice: BUY IT, whether you're a French, German, English, or any other Hip-Hop fan!!

5.0 out of 5 stars great cd, October 26, 2000

I first heard of Freundeskreis when I was in Germany last summer. I just happened to be watching TV and saw an interview with them. They just had interesting things to say-everything from their inspiration to current work. I just bought the cd because of the interview. It ended up being the best album. Its creative and original mixing different languages and artists together. I would completely recommend this album to anyone-and I have been trying to spread them around. They definetly deserve the credit.

5.0 out of 5 stars Internacia hiphopo de Amikaro (recenzo en Esperanto), May 19, 2000
This review is from: Esperanto (Audio CD)
Tiuj kantoj estis cetere ankaw publikitaj kiel disketoj sur kiuj parte trovighas plie pli bonaj versioj. Kore salutas via DJh Kunar

This review is from: Esperanto (Audio CD)
I just got this cd and I am not normally a fan of rap but this is pretty damn good. Some of the tracks I could do withought but some are really awsome. I enjoy the fact that it is in 4 different languages but i think most of the english lyricks arnt that great. Other than that this cd is 85% awesome!

5.0 out of 5 stars ..chillin'..., April 28, 2003

'Freundeskreis', which means 'circle of friends', are generally more the kind of 'chill-out and relax' variety, but there is still a lot of 'jumping around' songs. I would say its a hiphop/reggae mix. the album is amazing in and of itself. I can hear the reggae and other caribbean influencesits. VERY VERY good music, go and support them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beste Hiphopcd aus Deutschland!, October 30, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Esperanto (Audio CD)
Esperanto...
