4.0 out of 5 stars Sadly Gone, July 23, 2004

This review is from: Esperanto (Audio CD)
Shadowfax was a tremendously talented instrumental group and, with the passing of founder and reedman Chuck Greenberg, they have sadly passed from the scene. This is their last studio release and very worthy of inclusion in one's collection. While not the studio masterpiece that The Odd Get Even was, this is more along the lines of what Shadowfax fans are used to from the group.

4.0 out of 5 stars Esperanto by Shadowfax, March 15, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Esperanto (Audio CD)
I had recently discovered Shadowfax and purchased several of their albums. Although generally disapointing. I was most impressed with Esperanto. There is a space or nexus in the music of Shadowfax that defines their unique and original sound. However, over time one can experience a redundancy that tells the listener nothing more. At this point I think that Shadowfax CD's quickly collect dust within the overall collection. Esperanto will at least be played twice!
