this is one of those c.d.s that you can put on continuous play, and enjoy with your favorite person, or at your favorite place. - good for atmosphere or background music.

La Esperanza have created a musical masterpeice. Their album's blend of spanish guitar and hypnotic rhythms is a refreshing addition to my CD collection. This is much more than an upbeat new age instrumental or sleepy flamenco dinner music... it is a tribute to heritage and passion.

La Esperanza is Ricky Martin's dream band. Erotic, moody, and introspective... this album is fodder for the soul. Admittedly, I listen to this CD way too much, but I hear something new every time. I'd also like to add that It's wonderful to hear Glenn Medeiros sing on something with some real spanish flavor. I hope to hear more soon!

I had bought this album, some years ago and lost it, and just recently re purchased it, the music still today is timeless. I can honestly say that this is one of my favourite albums, the way the boys have mixed the sounds of flamenco and in some instances sounds of nature, especially in "Without You", its incredible. These guys are very talented musicians and am surprised there is not alot more of their stuff around, maybe thats what makes it all the more special and rare.

In July of 1999 this cd pulled me in...it is so seductive and bewitching. If a mans passion for a woman can be expressed through his guitar, this is what it sounds like. These tunes make you want to get up and dance or get down and dirty! My favorite songs are Teaser and Suenos..."te quiero"...This cd will ignite flames of desire and you'll need to hear it again and again!

I expected the Album to be good and was not dissapointed Enjoyed every bit of it.

This technically brilliant spanish guitar album is Fabulous! I bought it for a friend, and he played it so much I had to get my own copy, which I am listing to on my computer right now and LOVING! It's a wonderfully refreshing blend of intense spanish rhythms spliced with hip-hop beats, and it's not leaving my CD changer!

THIS IS THE MOST EXCITING COLLECTION I'VE HEARD IN YEARS! A CHALLENGING BLEND OF CLASSICAL GUITAR STYLES SET IN AN ENVIRONMENT OF POPULAR RYTHYMS. THIS IS DESTINED TO BE ONE THAT DEFINES "CROSSOVER".I'M SENDING IT TO ALL MY GUITAR PLAYING FRIENDS!

Enjoyed everysong on this CD, Carlos Villalobos & Andre Barbosa play some soulfully laid guitar melodies to smooth dance rythms,it doesn't get better than this! Isla's tropical flavor is the next best thing to being on the Islands! Fantastic stuff!!! look forward to seeing more from these artists!

Beautiful music and beautiful guitar pieces that are ideal for easy listening or latin dancing. My realtor friend wants to use to play in home tours. I told her where I got it.
