My 8 year-old and myself spent the better part of a day constructing the globe. It was different and challenging, yet the numbers on the back of the pieces make it possible for an 8 year old to do it. My 4 year old nephew was so intrigued by it. He stared at it for quite some time, dying to disasemble it and put it back together. Good fun.

My 7-year-old daughter received this Christmas Eve, and couldn't stop putting it together! We finally had to make her go to bed and continue it Christmas morning. It's a fairly hard puzzle, even with the numbers on the back of the pieces, so putting it together became a family event. Her father and I sorted the pieces by number while she fit them together. It's a very sturdy puzzle, allowing us to make mistakes and take it apart without damaging the pieces. It was a good investment.

I sent my grandson, age 6, the puzzle for Christmas. Although he is half the recommended age for the puzzle, he is in an accelerated class at school. So I thought he could do it. With help from his mother, he was able do it. On finishing the puzzle, he sent me a photo of the finished puzzle along with this email message: "Grandma, we finished, but this was not as easy as it looks. I worked on the top half and mama worked on the bottom half. When we finally got to a point where we were ready to join, it was virtually impossible to join the two halves. I didn't want to destroy all our hard work, so we removed bits of the top and tried and afix it to the bottom. Mama wanted to give up, but I told her we could not give up, we had to finish. After much much agonizing, we finally got this all together. It took has about 8 hours to complete, but we had fun. Thanks for the puzzle! I loved it."

My 8-year-old son and I did this puzzle over a series of nights; 100 pieces per night. One of us would sort through and find the numbers we needed, and the other would snap them in place. We had a blast! We talked about the different countries we were "exposing" as we went along. Not sure about the difficulties people have mentioned as they got to the end; he did that part by himself and had no problems.

Ever since I saw this puzzle in the big retail stores, I knew I wanted to try it out. Fortunately for me Amazon has really lowered the price from the $32 price tag I saw at Target.

There are actually two ways you can solve this puzzle. Every piece is numbered and you can assemble them round and round in order, or you can do it the hard way. There is always that urge to "cheat" you have to fight off when you can't find that piece!

My only complaint about this puzzle is the guide they give you to help you know how the final product looks. Most puzzles you just use the box, but you can only see half of the puzzle from their box view. They do give you a smaller flat plastic version of the puzzle, but it's rather tiny, and hard to really see detail that you normally would have with a rectangular puzzle box.

I highly recommend this puzzle. When put together, it is a real globe that can be used. I put this together with a 12 year old and we had hours of fun figuring it out. The names of places on the globe are easy to read. It is very sturdy when the last piece is snapped into place. The globe can be set on a shelf and can be taken down and used as a real educational tool. Ours has been used for several homework assignments. This puzzle was fun to put together and very useful too.

It was difficult to get started but once you got going it was easy enough to put together. (Just be sure to go by the numbers.) The end was more difficult because of the limited space. All in all it was a neat puzzle to do and to display.

This was one of my all time favorite gifts that I have given! It was fun for all ages and educational. Highly recommend for people who enjoy puzzles!

This was given to out 10 year old son and he loved putting it together. The pieces are made of a type of plastic and are curved so they don't get bent up like regular puzzle pieces. The backs of the pieces are numbered which came in handy for building. It is easy to display with the pedestal that came with it. It gets a little tricky at the end to get the last few pieces in, but it holds together well once finished.

My 4.5 year old and I had a lot of fun putting this together. Even as young as he is he was able to click the pieces together.
