This is a great leaning bookcase that I bought for my sister. She put it together in under 45 minutes and it looks great in her living room. The one problem is that if there is a chair-rail or any obstuction on the wall, the shelves might hit at that spot creating a small instability. It isn't that bad though, she still has full bottles of exotic wine placed on the middle shelves.

We received this item very quickly. We actually put it in our child's room. We have been trying for years to get something in his room that helped with space and this is the perfect addition. Great Space Saver. The item is also easy to assemble.

I ordered this bookshelf after a friend had ordered a similar brand, and hers handled all of her medical textbooks. Hers must have been of a better quality, for during assembly I had problems with the metal pieces breaking. I do not think I was forceful during assembly. Upon contacting the company, they agreed to send replacement parts and never sent them. In the mean time, I have had 2 of my shelves crack where the screws enter, and they now tilt. These are not even the shelves with textbooks, but just paperback novels. If the shelving was of better quality, it would be a beautiful addition to the room. I would not recommend this brand if you have anything other than light items (picture frames, stuffed animals, etc) because they seem to be made of cheap materials.

I read a few reviews before I purchased this item and it seemed to me that several people purchased this shelf for heavy books and such. I realized that is not what the picture shows and that's truly not what I wanted it for. I wanted it as a decoration and that's exactly what it does for me. A few pictures, couple of decorative books and flowers -- because that's what it is for! All my friends and family love it! If you want to accent a room, this is definitely what you wanna buy! So easy to assemble, too. :)

Got this bookcase as a Christmas gift. Love the color and the very simple set up. Set up definitely needs two people to combine the two sides. There are a few things that I was a little disappointed in. The bottom half seems to lean over a little where the top half is perfectly straight which kind of looks strange. I also had a little trouble getting the shelves tight enough to not wiggle around. When pushed up against the wall it isnt a big deal as long as there is not a lot of weight towards the back of the shelf where the shelf would fall back. Other than the few cosmetic issues i have been very happy with the bookcase.

I had seen similar bookcases that were much more expensive. I bought two for my kitchen/dining room to hold cookbooks. A little tricky to assemble for my less than handy husband and myself but we got it together. It is heavier than I thought it would be and we have gotten many compliments.

Came DAMAGED and NOT espresso as stated!!!

Seemed to be packed well...I was excited till we started unpacking. Came with huge nick in lower big shelf like the size of a quarter. Also back lip of smaller shelf was glued on crooked and has peg or something pushing thru finish.I swallowed each disappointment and dealt with each flaw we found thinking once stuff was on shelf it wouldn't be so bad.

Also, I started noticing just how MUCH lighter/redder the finish was than my other stuff. Espresso is brown/black, as ALL my other furniture is even though it is all from separate manufacturers. As my hubby unpacked more, I looked around my room and realized just how OFF the color was, it was more like a cherry....and thought do I really want to put this POS-made, non-matching bookshelf in this otherwise great looking room...and decided no I don't. Told hubby to pack it up, we're sending it back. BIG disappointment!

This bookshelf looks great and is nice quality. It is pretty easy to put together. It says you need 2 people for assembly but if you're used to putting things together it's no problem for one person!

This item is nicely made and was very easy to put together. All parts and clear instructions were included - only took about an hour to assemble.

Easy for boyfriend to assemble (yes he got stuck with that duty!), great color and size. Was concerned about the stability at first but once it's up with books and whatnot on it, it is great! Just needs a little weight added! We love it so much we are ordering a second one to go with it right now!
