5.0 out of 5 stars Large Shot Glass
Much better than the small shot glasses usually sold for espresso shots. Room for a double and wide enough for both streams to fit. Graduations are clearly visible. Wouldn't be without it now. Highly recommended.

1.0 out of 5 stars Worthless!
The measuring marks on this glass are wearing off after only two months of use! It's a measuring glass, for crying out loud. You think they would put the lines and numbers on with something just a little more durable. What use is a measuring class without measuring lines?

5.0 out of 5 stars Price of glass via Amazon Prime vs direct from Expresso Supply, September 23, 2011

I use this glass as a drink glass to measure out bourbon directly and to keep track of the amount of bourbon being consumed. The glass is great! Very robust and easy to hold. A really great glass.

I like it so much, I decided to buy a few more but I also decided to check prices directly from Expresso Supply. They sell them for #3.25 each versus $19.95 from Amazon. I bought five from Expresso with shipping the total bill was $24.80.

Buyer beware, Amazon Prime is a convenient way to buy but it has a serious price issue. In this case the purchase via Amazon Prime for five glasses would have been 402% higher which does not include the annual membership fee pro-rated for this purchase.

I use this for measuring mixed drinks, such as directions which say 1.5 oz of this, added to 3 oz of that etc. Since this easily measures up to 3.5 oz, it is very easy to accomplish my goal.

Marks are easy to read. Has been through 5 dishwasher cycles so far and the writing is not coming off yet. Highest mark is 3.5. Maybe completely full is 4 but 3.5 is really the usable limit. I use it for making cocktails.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for my espresso machine, October 17, 2008
This review is from: Espresso Supply 4-Ounce Logo Shot Glass (Kitchen)
As a newbie to the home espresso scene, I had been hunting for a better measuring cup. Buying two of these was just what I needed! Placed together, they measure the emerging espresso as I time it, enabling me to then adjust other parts of the process, making a little better espresso each time. Affordable price, marked in 1/2 ounces, great find!

Now to work with my tamp...

4.0 out of 5 stars sturdy but too tall, April 8, 2009

I bought this to ensure I was pulling the right amount of espresso from a shot. The biggest problem with it is that it doesn't fit underneath the portafilter (I have the Saeco Aroma), so I have to remove the drip pan. The impressive thing about it is how durable it is. I dropped it pretty hard on our granite counter (which usually means disaster), but it didn't break. Very strong!

5.0 out of 5 stars wider shot glass, July 14, 2011

Because of our wider filter spouts for our new espresso machine, we needed a wider shot glass. This one does the trick. It also has measurement lines for ounces and ml so it is useful for other small measuring jobs. Wash by hand if you want to keep the lines on it.

This is a great versatile tool. Use for pulling a long or short shot of espresso to measure to the just right amount. It is also great for making layered shots of alcohol. I bought it because it was on one of the 4 for 3 deals. I keep using it because it is a very handy little kitchen tool.

Being new to espresso, I really like this glass. It is clear with precise measurement markings and wide enough for under both spouts of the portafilter. I am able to see how well I'm pulling shots by timing and checking the measurements.
