IMPORTANT: This note concerns the specific edition by General Books LLC on offer here, not the actual text by Dewey!
If you are wondering what the point of this reprint by General Books LLC is, there is a publisher's note at the beginning of the text that reveals what the description here on Amazon does not: "We scanned this book using character recognition software that includes an automated spellcheck."
That's right. What you get is a text-scanned version of the historical original. Now, you might expect that at least this new version would be more easily readable or set in an appealing layout. However, this is not the case. On the contrary, the text is crammed in three columns per page with no paragraph breaks or formatting whatsoever. Even the "index" of about two columns at the end is not separated in any way:
rist is the sole final guaranty for the san-
ity of the theorist.

Stay away from this, even if you prefer the luxury of a properly printed edition over the pdf version that is freely available anyway.
