This review is from: Essays in Population History, Vol. III: Mexico and California (Hardcover)
As a student of archaeology and above all as a Mesoamericanist I think this book of essays is well presented, but if you are looking for information on foodways and the importance of such (I bought this book because there is an essay on Mesoamerican food)dont expect to see profound and precise information. Because this is a 40's book the research lines are more on the race and race distinctions. Nonetheless this is one of the few books that approach Mesoamerican foodways, just use at your own risk!
