I needed something to grow some herbs in my window sill. Each tray is 12 inches long and each pot is 4 inches wide. These are narrow enough for the sill and big enough for herbs. There is no drainage hole but I could punch a hole in the bottom with a nail.

I am pleased with these planters. I use them on the hanging planter shelves that can also be found on Amazon, and they look great. I mixed and matched the pure white pots with the designed pots on alternating shelves, and it has an eye-catching presence.

The size of the pots are about the size of a coffee mug, and they are best used for herbs or small/miniature plants. The pots are just the right weight to be sturdy without being too heavy. Note that the pots have no drainage holes. The pot tray is also easy to scuff up if you are constantly moving the pots, so be careful about moving them.

I can now have an array of fresh herbs at my window in an attractive display. I would buy this item again and recommend it to others.

Arrived quickly and well packaged. Very good quality, very attractive design. Growing some kitchen herbs in them, and they look nice on my window sill; much better than plain flower pots. To date, I have purchased five sets of these pots.

Perfect size for a usable batch of indoor herbs! I had to do what everyone else did and punch a hole in the bottom of the pots (put a coffee filter on the bottom to prevent the dirt from falling out). They are pretty, sturdy, and practical.

These pots are a little tinny but work okay for my kitchen herbs. You do need to put a hole in the bottom.

I bought these pots to start some herb plants from seeds. I put them on my window seal In my kitchen. They are very cute little pots especially for the price. There is no drainage so I did what another reviewer mentioned, and used a nail to poke some holes on the bottom. Worked perfect.

I had to search to find a little planter that would be attractive and actually fit right in the windowsill. This is a perfect fit and the buckets are VERY cute. It's nice that it comes with a matching drip-pan so you don't have to ghetto something together. I had to punch a drain hole in each bucket with a nail--would be nice if they came with drain holes already in them--but otherwise I love these so far!

Is the design nice? Yes
Is it sized perfectly for my kitchen? Yes - not bulky and large but, holds a good amount of soil

First thing I did was drill drain holes into the bottom of the pots themselves - otherwise how is it going to drain?

However; the water will still get trapped under the pots due to the lip of the pot on the bottom.

It is galvanized steel and all of it is not covered on the bottom with the print/paint therefore; rust will (and already is after 1 day of watering) be a factor and shows up extraordinarily well on the white metal tray.

Do I care about the rust rings? Nope

Standing by for how my herbs grow in it now: Basil, Chives and Parsley. In the kitchen where I also have a sunroof so, it should get plenty of warmth and sunlight.
