This is the only magazine I read regularly in college (25 years ago) that I still read now. Great articles on all kinds of issues and they do try to cater to black women from ages 20 to 55 or so which is not easy. Lately, it's been a little flat -- both in terms of magazine size and in the depth of the articles. I'm renewing it one more year and hope it improves during that time

Great magazine, with great articles, beauty tips, information on my community, and a section that celebrates everyday womens style. I love this magazine and have been buying it for years and finally decided to get a subsription and save a little money. I would recommend it to all.

I am a former subscriber to this magazine and love reading them so much that I subscribed last month. The problem is, I haven't received any issues for my new subscription yet. Do you know when I'll start getting them?

Every time an issue of Essence come in the mail, I am excited. The articles are interesting and the advertising are ones I can identify with. I will continue to be a subscriber.

I am so glad to have been able to get re-acquainted with this magazine again. It is modern, very fashionable and the articles are very informative.

This is a must have magazine for all african-american women. It doesnt just have fluff like other magazines. It is uplifting and has many real ideas for how to improve your life, finances, fitness, etc.

I look forward to reading this magazine every month.

I LOVE Essence and I am quite pleased with the delivery and maintence by Amazon, I receive it like clockwork each month!

the price can't be beat and I look forward to my magazine's arrival. When my son was a teen and wanted to know more about what women thought--I handed him my Essence. This was over 13 yrs ago and I can still remember his response: it was positive and he liked the articles (and the women modeling) that covered a variety of topics. He even compared Essence to the magazines the female students read on the bus 'It seems all they tell them is how to get a man'. Yep, my family and I love Essence.

ESSENCE is the PRICE source for all things positive and CULTURAL in the African American community! Writers, Editors, and Photographers are on the PULSE of society- being INFORMED, up-to-date, and entertaining!
