Beautifully Evocative, January 4, 2011

There's a depth to these songs you don't often find in ambient music. These are like landscape paintings, full of rich detail and nuance. It's amazing how evocative it can be for how little you feel you're paying attention to it. In the background it can help you clear your mind and focus, in the foreground it can create a beautiful world unto itself. Great music for relaxing, focusing, falling asleep or just about anything else in place of silence. I noticed today that it makes a good soundtrack to looking at Jean Delville paintings.
