"Essential" is inaccurate. About 15% of the songs were ones I knew / recalled, others were fillers. Another 15% were song or artists I had never heard of -- and I am a devoteee of the Rock music of this period. Review the ENTIRE list bfore you decide to buy! The remainder are, indeed, from the 70's, but far, FAR from being "essential".
