I bought this package to go with my son's Playsport ZX5 that he was getting for Christmas. I received the box 10 days after I ordered it (which isn't bad) but I was surprised to find that the items were all loose in the box, individually, with no packing material so they were tossed all over throughout shipping. I do like the hardshell case, but there is no extra room for anything else (like the cable, float strap, extra memory cards, etc.) so you still have to carry all of the accessories around in another bag. I have also used both tripods and, although somewhat flimsy, I am satisfied with those as well. Unfortunately, I have no use for the other items. 1) I received a high quality HDMI cable from Kodak for just the $5.99 shipping fee to replace the cheap, generic one from this package. 2) The USB card reader doesn't work at all ~ from what I read in ZX5 reviews, NO card reader will read the memory card files from this camera (I also tried using the one built in to my computer). From what I can tell, you must connect the camera to the computer via the cable to download your files. 3) The float strap is definitely NOT a wrist strap. It is way too big, even when cinched as tight as it will go, to stay on your wrist. It probably does float, but you will NOT be able to go hands-free when in the water. I had to spend the extra money to buy a new WRIST float strap. 4) The screen protector has to be cut to the correct size. I couldn't get it cut exactly and also ended up with bubbles and fingerprints all over. I ended up throwing away the protector from this package and buying a name-brand protector that was pre-cut to size that I installed perfectly on the first try. 5)I already have a cleaning kit that I use with all of my electronics, so I have no use for the generic Q-tips and bottle of who-knows-what-it-is.

Essentially, I would recommend that you base your purchasing decision on ONLY the case and tripods when deciding if this package is a good deal for the price.

We purchased the bundle for our 10-year-old daughter's Christmas present (with the Kodak PlaySport as a separate gift). She's a bit hard on the electronics, and even with the PlaySport purporting to be fairly rugged, the hard-shell case was a primary need. She also loves to perform and take videos of herself and her friends, so the tripods were also wanted; the smaller is great for taking to her friends' houses or traveling. And she needed an easy way to transfer what she recorded or photographed and the USB reader fits easily into her pocket and works most everywhere.

We haven't taken the camera to any large bodies of water and don't have any HDMI-compliant electronics equipment, so we have actually used those items, yet. But it's good to have them for when we do need them.

Even though it's not Prime eligible, ButterflyPhoto shipped the item quickly and in good condition.

My son is a novice at making videos but we were all impressed with the items included in this bundle. I believe the items will be very handy as his video making increases. The items appear to be well made. The larger tripod is probably the most impressive piece!

The camera and the accessory package is simply outstanding. I have now had an opportunity to use all components and like everything I ordered. The camera controls are simple but adequate. The video quality is outstanding. Uploads via the SD card and computer interface is fast and simple. I have already recommended the very same package to a friend and he has ordered it. I was impressed when my kit arrived the amount of items for the price was great. The tripod is a little flimsy but for this small cameras weight it will work just fine. I am very happy with each of the items included in the kit. I especialy like the case and the carrying cover for the tripod both have proven to be really useful. If you purchase these items seperatly you would find yourself paying a great deal more. the floating strap is a nice touch as you can go in or near water and if you drop your camera you can easily retreve it.

Bought this item for my daughter to go with camera for her birthday present. She loves it. It has everything she needs.
