I have read Chopra's "AGELESS BODY, TIMELESS MIND..." and then discovered "The Essential..." companion piece, which made navigating through the dense and important material which Chopra presents much more digestable for me. There is so much wisdom and important information which Deepak Chopra gives us in his classic work, it helps to have the principles and assumptions offered in a simplified and "essential" framework. I would recommend BOTH books, but highly recommend the "essential" version as an introduction to the larger work, and then as a reminder or brush-up course on the larger work.
