convenient, but not as fast as hoped for,

I bought these chargers hoping that the house unit would charge the Archos fast, about 3-4 hours like the claims of the DVR station, both the house charger and the car charger charge at about the same rate as the USB charger that comes with the Archos, on the PLUS side they are more convenient. I'm able to carry them everywhere and charge in the car or at a coffee shop, both units would benefit if their cords where 5' long instead appro. 3'

VERY SIMPLE, DO NOT BUY ARCHOS PRODUCTS. PURCHASED AN ARCHOS 5 AND ALL ACCESSORIES. THEY DO NOT PERFORM AS ADVERTISED AND THEIR SERVICE SUCKS. RETURNED FOR WARRANTY SERVICE, 60 DAYS LATER GOT IT BACK WITH NO IMPROVEMENT. BATTERY STOPPED WORKING AT 12 MONTHS AND 4 DAYS AND THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME IN EXCESS OF $120 FOR REPLACEMENT BATTERY. THEIR REPRESENTATIVES ARE COLD AND UNHELPFUL. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU THE CUSTOMER.
IF THIS REVIEW STOPS ONE PERSON FROM BUYING ARCHOS THEN I SUCCEEDED. I PERSONALLY HOPE THE GO BROKE. |
