I would have to pay twice as much if I had bought it separately. I even love the box it came in. As a beginning esthetician it was a great introduction to aromatherapy.
It's always a nice surprise when a purchase exceeds one's expectations, and this set sure does! Upon opening the box I was greeted with the exquisite scents of the contents. The products are beautifully presented, and carefully packaged. The icing on the cake was the hand-written thank you note. Such great service! A complete beginner, I am already having fun experimenting with the different aroma. My house smells great! I bought this set to make natural lotion and sugar scrubs for Christmas gifts. I felt it had a nice variety of oils that I needed. I still have a lot left over, which I am excited to use. Not only was I impressed with the way that it arrived and the packaging, I loved the type of oils in it and the quality. Great deal for the money.

I suffer from severe anxiety and depression and recently decided to take a more natural approach to healing. I got my oils in the mail today and have already made several recipes to simmer on the stove. The lavender is amazing. One day in and I'm already itching to buy more. The packaging is super cute and would be awesome for gift giving. I get excited every time I open the box.

I'm a doula and experimenting with aromatherapy for my clients. Getting this set was really exciting for me, and I've really enjoyed it so far. Everything smells good- the snozzberries smell like snozzberries! The rosemary doesn't have the clean scent I associate with rosemary needles, but it's clearly directly from the plant.

My biggest issue with this set is that it has too many bright, stimulating scents. The most relaxing scents are patchouli, lavender, clary sage and sweet orange. I wanted some more floral or woody scents- rose, ylang ylang, sandalwood or cedarwood, for example. Chamomile could be nice. The details don't matter- it's just that there are two mints and four citruses, as well as eucalyptus and tea tree!

What I'd really like to see is make-your-own-sets. That would be neat. Barring that, though, a variation in types as well as sizes of sets would be a win.

-Works great with alcohol for my shower in a bottle (cycling commuter)

Cons:
-Lacking a decent number of base note oils (plenty of top and mid notes)
-No advice for the beginner on how to blend them

This set is truly beautiful and the oils of high quality. Great set for getting started as the selection is the basic, most widely used scents. It comes with a small pamphlet with simple suggestions. I am currently painting 4 rooms in the renovation of 1830's home and the fumes were getting to me. I followed the suggestion of adding Peppermint E.O. to the paint, (10 ml to the gallon) not even sure if I would notice a difference. Well, it made a HUGE difference! The smell became of peppermint, my headache was greatly diminished. It changed the fumes enough that I was amazed. The peppermint scent fades within a day of applying the paint, but the difference it made was enough that I was able to paint longer and my breathing was greatly improved. I wasn't really expecting that! Have also used the Lavender in a bath for relaxation with equally noticeable effect. Very excited to have this gift and will be looking for a complete set from THIS company soon. By the way, the service was fantastic. My order was shipped out within ONE hour of placing it. Nicely boxed and quality service. I will definitely use this company again.

It's a great bargain for a quality product. I expected to build my essential oil collection one bottle at a time and pay an arm and leg for it....but thanks to Eden Garden I am off to a great start! I am pleasantly suprised and extremely happy with my purchase. Not only did it exceed my expectations it arrived in only 2 days!

Sometimes pictures can be better that the actual product. In this case, the product was better in person. Not only was I impressed with the shipping time, but I didnt even need to wrap the gift. This was beautifully packaged. I almost felt guilty that it was for my use and not a gift!

As another reviewer said, it included a hand-written thank you note, and arrived quite quickly. The oils are definitely high-grade and have descriptions of their usage on the back of each bottle. This was helpful for an oil newbie like myself.

I'd highly recommend Eden's Garden and wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again when the time comes to add more scents or replace my used ones.
