Walter Martin has written an "Essential" hanbook for the serious Christian that wants to know how to defend their faith. It is written with Apologetics in mind and designed so that it not only tells you what orthodox Christianity has historically held to be the TRUTH but how to defend it to those that are skeptics or cultists and that attack it. Dr. Martin has given a great tool for us to use. It is understandable for the novice and useful for the scholar. May Jesus continue to use it in His service.

I FIRST READ THIS BOOK ABOUT 13YRS AGO AND I WAS TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY BY DR. WALTER MARTINS INCREDIBLE STEP BY STEP EXPANATIONS OF BASIC CHRISTIAN DOCTRINE.THIS BOOK IS A MUST BY ANYONE WHO IS INTERESTED IN KNOWING NOT ONLY WHAT THEY BELIEVE BUT WHY THEY BELIEVE IT. IT IS POWERFUL AND YET AT THE SAME TIME VERY TOUCHING TO THE SOUL.I KNOW THIS BOOK WILL INSPIRE AND BLESS EVERYONE WHO TAKES THE TIME TO READ ITS PAGES.13YRS LATER THIS BOOK STRENGTHENS ME AS IF IT WERE THE 1ST TIME IVE READ IT.ENJOY!
