Fado music in many ways transcends earthly love. Fado essentially is all about the many little and big emotions of life. Sometimes, it expresses that which we are often unable to explain. Nevertheless Amalia Rodriques is often known as one of the early artists of Fado. This particular recording is an ecellent example, a fusion of somewhere between folk music, love songs, daily struggle. An excellent selection.

We heard this music style [Fado] while in Portugal as well as hearing Amelia on CD while there so the choice to purchase was easy! Glad we did; most enjoyable.
