It's fairly easy for a band like HOT CHOCOLATE to put together 30 songs or more for a best of set.
It's nice to have "HEAVENS IN THE BACKSEAT..." in this compilation, since it is hard to find ( despite its kitsch). But, the rest of the songs are mostly good tunes written and performed by good 70s songsmiths. A few of the tracks are not that cool, so its easy to see that this was not compiled by a fan; however, most of the tunes are great to listen to, and certainly at this price, a nice buy. Pity that there does not seem to be a more comprehensive boxset available for a quite enjoyable, indeed an emotionally evocative, band.

I just have to say this Hot Chocolate CD, The Essential Collection, is worth every dollar!!! I just love their music and I highly recommend it.
