I have played the viola for about three and a half years, so although I can play pretty well, I'm no professional. But I was so excited when I found this book!
It is easy, never asking for any shifting, extremely fast notes, or difficult musical symbols a beginner might not recognize. It's not boring, but flows smoothly so that it evens sounds okay when sight read. The music is sweet to the ear, flows smoothly, and doesn't stir up tears, sweat, or red-eared frustration. A must for all viola players who love Broadway music. |
