This is an excellent book for those that do not know much about the environment and what we can do to improve our own environment. I am using it for a class. I would recommnend it.

so this book is really good, the chapters are well laid out and relatively concise and to the point. at the start of every chapter it starts with a case study that is refers back to. it is one i plan on keeping. thus i was disappointed in the condition i received it.

My daughter is using this for an online course at Bryan College. It is filled with great info written in an engaging manner. As a mom who is buying college textbooks, I must tell the publisher that $100 for a paperback text stinks...

I purchased this book from the seller Warehouse Deals (fulfilled by amazon) and I have nothing but kind words to say about it. While I can not say I have read the book, as I purchased it for a college class I have yet to take, I can say it arrived in great condition! It was well packaged, and if the book had been any less "damaged", i would have assumed they sent me a brand new text book. The only wear on the book I received is the entirely normal wear that will occur when one actually uses a book gently (slightly curved, worn corners). Not only is the book nearly perfect, I saved $81.69 buying it here rather than the campus bookstore... I will absolutely be looking for more text book deals from Amazon and Warehouse Deals.

I used this book for my environmental bio 110 class...it's a very useful book, clear and concise, like a high school book. Good for an entry level science class or a "science for non-science majors" course.

I used this book for the Environmental Science class I took. It is very well written and easy to understand. I feel it is an excellent learning tool for learning about the environment. The book I ordered was new and in perfect condition.

Came in great shape. A good book to have if you want to learn the basics of environmental conservation, improvement, and an overall look at the environment.

This book was as described, but I wasn't sure if it was the same as the full version of the book or not. I thought I would buy it because it was cheaper, but it did not include every chapter as the Pearson book. It wasn't the seller's fault, but rather mine for taking a chance on it.

Book came fast and was very comparable to other books I was looking for. Recommend.
