4.0 out of 5 stars A reader from California, September 20, 2001

This review is from: Essential Ethernet Standards: RFCs and Protocols Made Practical (Internet Standards) (Hardcover)
The book gives to the reader a good knowledge of the complex RFC world. It doesn't go deep in any Ethernet standard but have good Internet sites addresses where someone can get those. The author waist a lot of time talking about what will be seen in the next chapters and when you get there you feel a little disappointed. The title "...RFCs and standards made practical" is not a good one for the book. It should be " The RFCs and standards world made practical".
