A Really Good Start
This is a really good book for beginners, hoping to take up Fashion Design as a hobby or proffession. Although it doesn't take the place of a good course or class, it is great for home use, and it has plenty of clear, easy to interpret illustrations. Filled with projects and excersises that help your skill grow, I think that this is a really good book for anyone...

A Big Disappointment
I expected more info on how to put your portfolio or presentation boards together. This book is full of pictures and seemed more of a display item. If you are looking to find out more on how to create presentation boards or portfolio's, this isn't the book you should look for.

was not much of any help with the designs my daughter was trying to design. Perhaps for someone who is a great at sewing would enjoy this book, not someone just starting off.
