5.0 out of 5 stars Major Airline recruiter recommends this guide!, June 10, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: The Essential Guide To Becoming A Flight Attendant (Paperback)
As an airline recruiter/interviewer for a major airline I have seen and heard about "The Essential Guide To Becoming A Flight Attendant" for for some time now. I checked it out personally recently and it is right on target. Anyone who reads and follows the information in this guide should have no problem being hired as an airline flight attendant. The questions Ms. Ward reveals in the guide are the exact ones I ask each day while interviewing flight attendant applicants and the tips on interview etiquette are right on. I wish all applicants were as prepared as those who have read this incredible book must be. Kudos for a professional job by a flight attendant professional!

5.0 out of 5 stars I GOT THE JOB!, January 3, 2007
By
This review is from: The Essential Guide To Becoming A Flight Attendant (Paperback)
I ordered this book just two weeks before my interview. The book arrived in two days and I read it. I read it again, and again. I studied the questions, practiced my answers, dressed how I was supposed to dress, walked how I was supposed to walk. This book worked, and I was offered a job as a flight attendant with a major airline on the spot. I start training next month and cannot wait. This book is what you need to have the upper edge over the other applicants- I was skeptical- but after being hired to the most sought after position in the aviation industry- I am a believer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Prospective flight attendants need this book!, June 18, 2000
As someone who is just starting the rather grueling process of trying to become a flight attendant, I can attest to the accuracy and helpfulness of Ms. Ward's manual. Her wealth of experience comes shining through, page after page. After attending two interviews for major airlines, I found that all of what I had learned from The Essential Guide to Becoming a Flight Attendant was, indeed, essential! It helped me immeasurably - in fact, I was invited to a second interview with both carriers! Anyone serious about becoming a flight attendant in today's competitive market will appreciate Ms. Ward's insights--especially her sample (and very accurate) interview questions and tips on what to expect and how to plan for your interview. Ms. Ward is also available for follow-up advice by e-mail and she has been unfailingly helpful throughout my own interview process. I highly recommend the manual to anyone else in my position.
