5.0 out of 5 stars Awsome!
This book is awsome! It tells you when it's made, which company made it and its functions. At the front, it even tells you all the companies in Star Wars! Everybody should have this!

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice work but lacks detail.
As a SW fan I expected to see every SW ship and vehicle in existence and I this book almost fills that expectation. As a modeler I hoped to see blueprints for each ship but good plans are scarce in this book, most ships only have 2-view drawings of them. Most detailed plans are published before in West End's SW source books. Furthermore, information of the ships and...

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must Have for Anyone Who's Anyone in Star Wars, March 29, 2000
This review is from: The Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels (Star Wars) (Paperback)
This is the best of the essential guides. The text is reasonably thorough and compelling, the subject is interesting, and the drawings are magnificent. This is the perfect Star Wars reference book, that walks the fine line between believability and staying faithful to the Star Wars Galaxy. While you don't get a novel, you get a good, solid, text bookish read that should be present in a reference book. You also get great data, and drawings of your favorite ships from Star Wars.

5.0 out of 5 stars Handy-Shpandy little book of Handy-Shpandy Star Wars info, March 23, 2000
This review is from: The Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels (Star Wars) (Paperback)
This was cool! I enjoyed reading about all of the ships inthis. I'll bet not very many people know what an MT-AT is, but Iknow. Most people probably don't know who it was that destroyed Executor, but I know. In other words, if you didn't know those, you need to brush up on your Star Wars facts, so I reccommend that you buy this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great help, August 3, 2001
This review is from: The Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels (Star Wars) (Paperback)
One of the things I hated about reading the older Star Wars books is the fact that there were so many new spaceships mentioned, but I had no idea what they looked like. This guide has sketches of all the ships it describes. Note: this book only contains ships mentioned in novels written before the release of Episode I and the storm of new books that followed.

4.0 out of 5 stars Could have been more informative, December 4, 2000
This review is from: The Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels (Star Wars) (Paperback)
While this book is an excellent resource which contains drawings and simple schematics of 100 ships in the Star Wars universe, it could have had much more technical information than was provided. The book concentrated much more on the historical aspects of the ships, and didn't say much about the vehicles and vessels actual abilities. However, that said, the book did provide some technical info, and it was still very informative, and I do recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another Life-Saver, February 10, 2000
This review is from: The Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels (Star Wars) (Paperback)
This is an excellent book. When I watch one of the movies and I see a ship that I want to know more about this is where I go. When reading any one of the books and I would like to know what it looks like or need to know more about it this is where I go. I highly reccomend this book and if you can't possibly find what you need to know in this book then I would like to also reccomend the Star Wars Encyclopedia.

5.0 out of 5 stars If you love Star Wars you do need this book., February 7, 1999

See all your favourite craft from your favourite films. All starships detailed in everyway. Find out how many types of Star fighters there are, and who they are made by. See how many tie fighters a Star Destroyer holds etc. I have read this book so much that you could ask me anything on it I would know what it was. The first book I got in the series and now I have the guide to Characters, Planets and moons, and Weapons and Tecnology. A must for Star Wars fans.

5.0 out of 5 stars This book is the best!!!!!, December 23, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: The Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels (Star Wars) (Paperback)
The Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels is what I think is one of the best books I ever read. It may not have all the Star Wars ships, but there is lots of information on ships I never knew of before. I have got to say that this book is the best!
