I have gone thru several histology books but yet I keep coming back to Cormack's Essential Histology.
This is book is your beacon of light for Histology.

This was a recommended book for my medical histology class. Most of my other textbooks were informative but quite boring. However, this book kept my interest because it was written in a way to make learning easier. My study group and I also used the following which is on amazon: Histology Study Guide: Key Review Questions and Answers by Patrick Leonardi
The questions were right on target with the type I saw on my exams in my medical histology class. I highly recommend both books. In addition, I also used both these books to study for the histology portion of the USLME step 1. I passed the USLME step 1 the first time with the aid of these two books.
