4.0 out of 5 stars No rubber 'tip' included with cane
I am 5 ft.tall exactly, with a bad left knee. The length of the cane in the first hole (as packaged) is just right for me. The handle has a nice feel and the size is just right for my medium tote bag when folded. A simple 'shake' is all that is needed to extend the cane and engage the extensions once it has been initially adjusted and the screw tightened.

3.0 out of 5 stars Lightweight occasional cane
This product is exactly as described. It is lightweight and thinner (only 5/8) and very much a ladies' or young adult's cane. It is perfect for occasional use for when the leg acts up and maybe for lightweight travel. I would not recommend this for long term heavy use as the thinner diameter does not seem as sturdy as their regular canes.

However, the buyer should know that there is NO rubber tip included in the package. I had to send my husband out to the drugstore to buy one. It uses a 5/8 inch size tip.

Also, some sort of 'folded holder' would be nice on the side of the first section, much more attractive than my rubber band and not as likely to get lost in the bag when I am ready to fold it up again.

Although the company claims that this cane can support up to 250lbs, the actual pressure of someone pushing down on the cane for support adds additional force to their actual weight.

I purchased this in the Butterfly color, but the print is actually quite garish looking because the metallic aluminum shows through the transparent printed overlay. As a result, the large white butterflies looked silver, the yellow ones looked a tacky yellow-gold . The overall effect was quite loud.

If you're looking for something more subdued yet individual, go for one of the smaller intricate prints.

Mine came with a black rubber foot on the bottom.

Nicwe cane, but it was not listed it was only 5/8" wide. It would cost me more to return it. I am 5'10" and need the wider cane. I wish they would have listed it properly, but it is a nice cane, They sent the wrong color also, but it is nice.
