5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful book by a wonderful man, July 26, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Essential Principles of Chiropractic (Hardcover)
Dr. Virgil Strang was a wonderful man who devoted 50 years of his life to chiropractic. As an employee of Palmer College of Chiropractic during the last four years of his life, I am proud to say I was able to hear him speak on the value of chiropractic in people's lives. He had a way with words and a passion for chiropractic that was contagious. This is a fantastic book on an area of health care whose time has come. Everyone should read this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Essential Indeed, February 10, 2008

(REAL NAME)
Strang was a genius anatomist whom, it was said, memorised Grays Anatomy text. In the board exam, he was failed as he was though to have cheated by quoting copious sections of the book verbatim.

He was later a masterly philospher, introducing such concepts as The Division of Physical Morality that would govern all health care decisions in society. Who would be at the gate-keeper's role in this departement? Why, a philosopher, of course. NOT a physician of any kind.

This is essential reading for any student of chiropractic. Ignore it at your won peril.
