No real markings as promised and literally like new. Also shipping was very fast. It is very helpful to have a clean book to read from!

Text doesn't seem focused enough at times, but all in all it is a good comparison of philosophical views of governing.

Just what I expected for my Comparative Politics course. Has some great readings. Not perfect in terms of what they selected but I think it's the best that has been done so far. Shipping and everything was as expected. Highly recommend.

Very applicable, good foundational modern papers in the field of study. Good spread of different authors and didn't overuse any particular scholar out there. Good variety of perspectives as well. Very well done, particularly for a college course.

This book contains a wide range of political science writings. This includes historically important theories and very modern articles as well. This combination makes for a wonderful entry level text as it gives the original background/theories needed to comprehend various complicated issues, both past and present. The article based nature helps a lot to keep the book interesting. If you're reading this, it is probably assigned reading for class, but you should look forward to it as opposed to many dry textbooks!

This book is basically a collection of essays arguing various points and perspectives. The collection presents a good collection of mainstream PoliSci with multiple viewpoints well represented. As a textbook it was less boring then most and provided solid models for how to structure arguments and essays.

I don't have much to say. I didn't even really read the book, it had scribblings in it which bugged me so I returned it. If I knew there was writing in it I would have never purchased it in the first place.

I got my book quickly and in great quality! I'm very satisfied with my purchase. :)
