I bought this for my husband who is a Christmas fanatic, especially when it comes to It's a Wonderful Life, which he watches several times during the holidays. Thought that this would be a fun book to test his knowledge of the movie's trivia...and it did just that. For fans of this movie, this book gives you all kinds of information on the filming and little quirks to look for the next time that you watch it. My husband loved it and after reading parts wanted to watch the movie again to look for things he had missed or had never noticed before. Great book with lots of cool information.

This is a great way to reengergize the old Christmas classic. I can't wait to watch the movie again.

This book was great and I loved the quiz at the back. Turns out I know even more about I.A.W.L. than I first thought!

Loved the way the book was broken down in to explanations, further thoughts, insider information, etc.

Just a great job breaking down this masterpiece. I had the print on reading along and found it very informative. A little bit of dry wit thrown in and you have a very entertaining two hours. Well done. five stars. Maybe someday a directors cut?

Michael Willian's marvelous book about one of the best movies ever made is so much more than a mere trivia book. It's a collection of insights, character sketches, inside information about the movie, much of which has escaped attention.

Willian goes to great lengths to dissect this movie, and come up with some wise observations. Many of his comments reflect his study of the actual movie screenplay, which provides insights to characters and relationships in the movie not totally clear. He explains lines in the movie that have long since passed understanding, and explains them (usually referring to an edited scene or something people living at the time would all know). Most of his points are indicated with an exact time in the movie where they occur so you can actually see for yourself.

This book is a must have for any fan of the movie. I read the book not watching the movie, but this weekend, I will read it again, DVd in my player, remote at hand, to get the full effect.

Awesome to now know all the buildings in the town and where to place each piece.

This book is a quick, easy read for all fans of this great movie. It provides many little bits of information on the cast and story and even points out little gaffes or interesting items within the movie that you may never have noticed yourself. So get out your copy of the movie, grab the book, and revisit the Bailey's!
