4.0 out of 5 stars Not bad for 10 bucks, November 5, 2002

I must say i'm a die hard Trance fan and don't really care for House music, but this CD isn't bad. The guy at the record store told me it had a mix of both House and Trance and I figured a double CD for 10 bucks what the hell why not check it out. I think my 10 bucks was well spent. It has a awesome Paul Van Dyk remix of "10 in 1" which is the best track on either of the CD's. This is a good CD for fans of House music, but die hard Trance addicts won't care for this except for a few Trance tracks on this compilation which is mostly House, but still not a bad compilation

2.0 out of 5 stars Love to Dance, November 10, 2003
By A Customer

This CD is not good. It's a nonstop pulsating beat with almost no lyrics. I was hoping for something similar to the DMA compilation tapes. This is not it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not bad for a dance compilation, January 14, 2006

Though there are some out there that are far superior, this 2-disc compilation isn't bad. The only problem is, it doesn't hook you at first listen like some other ones I've heard. After a few listens, some of the really obscure tracks came around to me with three of them having me going out and buying their single counterparts ("The Underground", Suzanne Palmer's remake of Kosheen's "Hide U" and Bel Amour's "Bel Amour") One of the songs that stands out is Pound Boys' "K Pasa". This is a great little ditty that will get caught in your head for days. I agree with the other reviewer on here when he says "K Pasa" should be on more compilations. I've searched for the single on 12" or CD and have had no luck. Yeah, this CD set has some overplayed stuff (Darude, mind you and Voodoo & Serrano) but some of the no-so-known tracks stand out here (like "K Pasa"). I like the fact that Riva's original "Stringer" is on here in original full form without Danni Minogue's vocals (most trance fans know this song as "Who do you Love Now?"). Still for the price, it isn't bad. Just give it a chance. You'll like it.
