I bought this drop cloth to use as a throw cover on a sofa where dogs like to sleep. Right out of the box and out of the bag it had no odor at all. It is a nice weight and a lovely oatmeal color. I machine washed and dried it which changed the texture. It's much softer and wrinkled, but an attractive wrinkling like washed linen. There is a seam down the middle that is blue jean stitched, so it's not going to fall apart or fray.

The 12 foot (144 inch) length was actually 11 feet 10 inches (142 inches), and it shrank to 11 feet 2 inches (134 inches).

It shrank more in width. The 9 foot (108 inch) width was actually 8 feet 10 inches (106 inches) and it shrank to 7 feet 5 inches (89 inches).

Bought five of these dropcloths after seeing the positive reviews. I made them into curtains for my porch. It work perfectly since there was a seem in the middle and I was able to easily remove the seem to make one dropcloth into two panels. All I had to do was hem the top and bottom of the panels to make them into curtains. I am very happy with the quality and would recommend this product.

I paid the same price for a much lighter weight drop cloth at Home Depot. It ripped the first time I used it. This one is MUCH heavier weight. Great value!

I bought this as I decided to learn how to do some interior painting over the memorial day weekend (1 bedroom, ceiling and bathroom). I bought this based on the good reviews. Upon rereading these reviews I see that a lot are from customers who didn't buy it for painting and a few who experienced the same problem. I was told it would take a day so I figured 3 days would give me time for lots of mistakes and hopefully figure out some nuances.

As part of my experiment, I bought this product, a smaller one 6x9 from Lowes/blue hawk and a plastic 9x15 one from Walmart for less than $2. What I like about this product was that it felt comfortable to walk on, the one from Lowes/blue hawk was a little slippery to walk on.

The reason I'm writing this review is because upon cleaning up I noticed that under this drop cloth some of the paint seeped through from a few spots of paint, roughly about half an inch in diameter or smaller. Since this was placed over laminate I just rubbed it off. There was lots more spilled paint on the Lowes/blue hawk one but nothing underneath, similar size spots on the plastic drop cloth. If you are buying this to protect something important whilst painting you need to know that some of the paint will get through.

I used these to make drapes and they turned out awesome! I washed them twice--empty your lint spot frequently--and ironed them and they look like linen. Great quality, weight, color, and price.

here's more proof: unprimed canavs sold on rolls was about the same price as these tarps, but that canvas was only 7oz, this is slightly heavier and a larger piece of canvas overall. the rolled canvas marketed towards the artist was only 45" wide and 3 yds long--quite a difference! SO GLAD I found this!

I purchased (2) 9 x 12 to use as an alternative to drapes for my wife's sewing space in the basement. Could'nt be happier with the results. Excellent quality. They are almost too nice to drip paint on. Would highly suggest this product to anyone looking for quality. And I could not find a better price anywhere on the internet.
