The book was in excellent order for a second hand book. I would definately recommend students buying second hand reference books through amazon.

This is an excellent source for a basic understanding of Anatomy and Physiology. Just note that any such class requires a lot of memorization. There are a lot of terms, and names for things to remember. This book makes it more interesting my adding stories and relating the information to real life or job situations. It helps to put things into perspective. The images are not always clear, but, when used with the workbook designed for the course, everything comes clear.

I was not particularly pleased with the CD's that came with the book, but they do contain all the images from the book as an aid to studying.

Got an A in this class! The book helped alot, just put in the time studying and you should do well! Never looked at the CD-ROM, either.

I purchased this book a couple months about for my Bio class and when we got the urinary system, I noticed that 16 pages are missing from the book! And I bought it brand new sealed! Disappointing. Not Amazons fault, bad product from the manufacturer!

If you want a summary of the human anatomy and physiology, then this is for you. This was the book in my class and it has all the important things you need to know about the human anatomy. The illustrations are great, I'll give it that, but the price is ridiculous, since this book DOES NOT have all the information of human anatomy it's only a SUMMARY, hence the name ESSENTIALS OF HUMAN ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY.

The book came reasonably quickly. I would mention that it didn't come with the CD that usually accompanies the book when you purchase it new... but I got it used, for a great price, so I wasn't really expecting the CD. There was only minimal underlining/highlighting/marginal notes, not at all a problem. The book is well written, has easy to read diagrams, and explains Human anatomy in a nice overview that isn't too indepth nor does it gloss over everything. Overall, I was very happy with the service from the seller, and from the book itself.

the book is being used for my human anatomy class, and its pretty helpful with the simple to understand images and text. good for learning complex stuff in a simple manner. recommend for highschool-early college students.

I ordered this book as a requirement for my human anatomy and physiology course. Although the ISBN listed was for 987-0321513427, I received ISBN: 987-0321513533 instead. So far there hasn't been a problem aside from the page discrepancies. As long as the professor lists the sections that will be covered, the page numbers shouldn't be a problem.

The textbook arrived quickly and in good condition, except the accompanying CD was broken in half. I contacted the seller about the broken CD. The seller said that the CD must have gotten broken during shipping and offered a full refund if I returned the textbook and CD; however, the seller did not have a replacement copy of the CD. I needed the textbook for school that week, so I decided to keep the textbook even with the broken CD. Fortunately, the professor said that I would not need the CD for the class.
