I learned nothing from her, but this book was very helpful, easy to read, and I was able to self-teach from it.

After doing a little research, I took a shot and purchased a 3rd edition of my Contemporary Management textbook to use instead of the required 4th edition, for my Business 201 class at Ashford University. The book is not only exactly the same except for the cover, it was in perfect condition and it saved me well over $125 and I am still able to do my assignments perfectly! I always get a great deal from Amazon and I can use that money for future classes! Thank you!

This book was pretty good. I bought it for an online class and the teacher for the class was really bad. I learned nothing from her, but this book was very helpful, easy to read, and I was able to self-teach from it.

I needed a book for my online class, which I found on Amazon.com for more than 80 bucks less. I was surprized, skeptical, and almost afraid to place the order over the internet. I remember one of my co-workers mentioning that she had used Amazon.com to order her books for online classes several times. She also mentioned that she was pleased with her order and the length of time it took to receive her order. She gave me a few pointers on how to pick and choose the vendor. So, I took a chance and placed the order. From the time I placed the order until, the time it was delivered to my door; I was very impressed and pleased. I will be purchasing all books and materials from Amazon.com from this point on, and I do highly recommend their services.

I recently purchased this book for my online college course and I found it very helpful in achieving my course completion. For anyone in business or any new hire for a business which results in a management position, I highly recommend this book. It's very informative, covers a wide range of topics in organizational management, and is an excellent and a very comprehensible read.

Needed this for a class in college. It was much less expensive than through the college book store and was exactly what I needed for the course work. Much easier for me to read in book form than the on line book, easier to locate and mark references and find information. This copy also has the software for accessing the on line copy as well for those more comfortable reading books on a screen.

This book is great as an introduction to management. If offers a very broad, but rather shallow scope, to different management theories, techniques, styles, etc. It's an easy read, with lots of pictures, and great, applicable examples. For anyone looking for basic ways to improve their management skills, or any student who needs this for a class, it's a good resource.
